Designed by Ludovico, son of founder Max Arrigoni. Katana is designed to achieve control, definition, and a unique, well-balanced tone. The series is crafted from a selected bronze alloy, offering fast response, controlled projection, and a wide yet always manageable dynamic range. The surface is finely worked, featuring decorative engravings along the outer edge inspired by the profile of traditional Japanese katana blades. Deep hammering on rides and hi-hats delivers a distinctive harmonic complexity.
